At Talent Frontiers, your personal data belongs to you. We exist to help you find great remote work — not to profit from your information. We will never sell your data to third parties.
As a candidate on our platform, you are placing your trust in us with personal and professional information. We take that responsibility seriously. This page explains specifically how we handle candidate data — who sees it, how it's used, and how you can control it.
We are fully committed to complying with the Republic of the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations enforced by the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
2. What Data We Collect from Candidates
Account Information
Full name and email address
Encrypted password (we never store plain-text passwords)
Account creation date
Professional Profile Information
Professional title and category
City and province (location)
Years of experience and professional summary
Skills, tools, and certifications
Expected rate (hourly or monthly)
Job type and schedule preferences
Availability status
English proficiency level
Documents
Resume / CV (PDF, DOC, or DOCX — max 5MB)
LinkedIn profile URL (optional)
Activity Data
Jobs you have applied to
Date and time of applications
Login activity
We do not collect government IDs, bank account details, TIN, SSS, PhilHealth, or Pag-IBIG numbers. If anyone claiming to be from Talent Frontiers asks for these, please report it immediately.
3. Why We Collect Your Data
We collect only what we need. Here is exactly why we use each type of data:
Name & email — to create and manage your account and send you important notifications
Professional profile — to display your profile to recruiters searching for candidates like you
Resume — to allow recruiters to evaluate your qualifications for specific roles
Skills & preferences — to match you with relevant job opportunities
Location — to help recruiters understand your time zone and availability for remote work
Application history — to show you which jobs you have applied to and track your activity
Login activity — for security purposes to detect unauthorized access
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for commercial purposes, or selling to third parties.
4. Who Can See Your Data
Registered Recruiters
Recruiters who have created a verified account on Talent Frontiers can view your:
Full name, professional title, and profile summary
Skills, experience, location, and availability
Resume (if uploaded) and LinkedIn URL (if provided)
Email address (for direct contact)
General Public (Not Logged In)
Visitors who are not logged in can see basic candidate profile information on the Browse Talent page (name, title, skills, location) but cannot access your email address, resume, or full contact details.
Talent Frontiers Team
Our internal team has access to your data only as needed to operate the platform, review profiles for approval, and respond to support requests. Access is restricted and monitored.
Third Parties
We do not share your personal data with any third parties except our infrastructure service providers (hosting, email delivery) who are bound by confidentiality agreements. We never sell your data.
5. Your Rights as a Candidate
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the following rights which you can exercise at any time:
Right to be Informed — You have the right to know what personal data we collect and how it is used. This page fulfills that obligation.
Right to Access — You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this within 15 business days.
Right to Correction — You can update your profile information at any time through your candidate dashboard. For account-level corrections, contact us directly.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten) — You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. We will process this within 15 business days, subject to any legal retention requirements.
Right to Object — You can object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes. We will honor your request unless we have a legitimate legal basis to continue.
Right to Data Portability — You can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to Lodge a Complaint — If you believe your data rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) at privacy.gov.ph.

6. How We Keep Your Data Safe
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your information:
SSL Encryption — All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS
Password Hashing — Your password is never stored in plain text. We use industry-standard hashing (WordPress bcrypt)
Secure Hosting — Our servers are hosted by Hostinger with enterprise-grade security infrastructure
Access Controls — Only authorized team members can access the platform backend
Regular Backups — We maintain regular encrypted backups of all platform data
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours as required by law.
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:
Active accounts — Data is retained for as long as you maintain an account on the platform
Deleted accounts — Upon account deletion, your profile is removed within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes
Application records — Records of job applications are retained for 12 months after the application date
Inactive accounts — Accounts with no activity for 24 consecutive months may be deactivated. You will be notified by email before deactivation
You may request immediate deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at info@talentfrontiers.ph.
8. Protecting Yourself from Scams
Talent Frontiers will NEVER ask you for money, government IDs, bank account numbers, or personal financial information. If anyone claiming to represent Talent Frontiers requests these, it is a scam.
To protect yourself while using our platform:
Never pay fees to apply for jobs listed on Talent Frontiers — all applications are free
Never share your government ID numbers, bank details, or financial information with recruiters through our platform
Be cautious of job offers that seem too good to be true or request unusual personal information
Always verify the legitimacy of a company before sharing sensitive information outside the platform
