Job Description

Talent Frontiers is recruiting on behalf of its client for an Auto Body Technician responsible for restoring damaged vehicle bodies and structural components to safe, high-quality condition in line with approved repair estimates, manufacturer specifications, workshop procedures, and agreed turnaround times. Key responsibilities include reviewing repair estimates, inspecting damaged vehicles, disassembling and repairing body panels and structural components using approved methods, preparing surfaces for refinishing, using tools and equipment safely, and coordinating with the wider workshop team to support efficient, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Technical/vocational qualification in auto body repair, collision repair, automotive technology, metal fabrication, or a closely related discipline is preferred
  • Practical experience in a professional body shop or collision-repair environment; demonstrated hands-on competence may substitute for formal education
  • Working knowledge of vehicle body construction, panel replacement, dent repair, structural repair, welding, surface preparation, and safe disassembly/reassembly
  • Ability to read and follow repair estimates, technical manuals, safety instructions, measuring data, diagrams, and manufacturer repair procedures
  • Valid driver's license and legal authorization to operate client vehicles where required
  • Preferred certifications: ASE Collision Repair, I-CAR or equivalent structural/non-structural training
