Job Description

Looking for an experienced medical scribe or medical transcriber with a strong understanding of how SOAP charts are structured and how Electronic Medical Records systems work. Responsible for accurately transcribing patient encounters and medical visits into the EMR.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare VA role preferred
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and basic medical terminology
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience or familiarity with: Medical Transcription, HIPAA Compliance
